Social Scientists fosters Social Connections through STEM Activities
Is your child curious about how things work, eager to explore science, or interested in video games and construction?
Do they enjoy hands-on learning, experimenting, and discovering new ways to create and play?
Social Scientists is a 3-day STEM program designed for children aged 9–12 who are ready to dive into the exciting worlds of science, technology, and construction. Altogether across three 2-hour sessions, children will take part in hands-on experiments, exploring technology and engaging in engineering and construction—all in a fun, supportive environment.
This group encourages creative thinking, collaboration, and curiosity as children learn new skills, solve problems together, and build meaningful social connections. Sessions are interactive, age-appropriate, and welcoming to all experience levels.
Goals of the group include:
- Foster social connections through collaborative science experiments and team activities.
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning and social communication
- Promote positive social interactions through shared experiences and group challenges.
- Support confidence-building in group settings through playful, hands-on STEM exploration.
- All while createing a welcoming space where children can connect, create, and learn together.
