Little Social Scientists fosters Social Connections through STEM Activities
Is your child curious about how things work, eager to explore science, or interested in video games and construction?
Or do they enjoy hands-on learning, experimenting, and discovering new ways to create and play?
Little Social Scientists is a 3-day STEM program designed for children aged 6-8 who are ready to dive into the exciting worlds of science, technology, and construction. Altogether, these three 2-hour sessions will have children take part in hands-on experiments, exploring technology and engaging in engineering and construction—all in a fun, supportive environment.
This group encourages creative thinking, collaboration, and curiosity as children learn new skills, solve problems together, and build meaningful social connections. Sessions are designed to be interactive, age-appropriate, and welcoming to all experience levels.
Also, this group is open to current OTHC clients or new families, including those on our waitlist.
Goals of the Social Scientists group include:
- Foster social connections through collaborative science experiments and team activities.
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning and social communication
- Promote positive social interactions through shared experiences and group challenges.
- Support confidence-building in group settings through playful, hands-on STEM exploration.
- All while creating a welcoming space where children can connect, create, and learn together.
