School-based one-on-one sessions
Our Occupational Therapists work from multiple schools across Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches, in addition to our Frenchs Forest clinic. Your child can have their one-on-one OT session during school time if that’s more convenient for you.
Please note this will depend on if we are working at your child's school or we have room in our schedule. If you would like us to come to your child’s school, please contact us to see how we can help your child.
School Consultations
Our OTs can also come and visit schools to observe children's participation in the classroom. This can be helpful for knowing which skills to work on in one-on-one OT sessions, as well as being able to provide recommendations for teachers as to how best support and engage children with additional needs.
School and Preschool Screenings
We can help schools and preschools identify which students may need extra support with their development by conducting screenings. This involves children completing a few fun tasks. This helps us to see which students are struggling and could benefit from extra help.
