Sense Team Sports…where therapy and sports combine, involving every child and their unique abilities.
Sense Team Sports integrates the principles of Occupational Therapy with the excitement of various sports, creating an inclusive program for children of all abilities. Established in October 2015 by Paediatric Occupational Therapist Carlien Parahi and Australian Rugby Sevens Olympian Jesse Parahi, Sense Team Sports helps children discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop lifelong friendships.

As Occupational Therapists, one of our main goals is to help children self-regulate, which involves managing their emotions and maintaining an optimal state of arousal. This skill is crucial for success in various areas of life, including school and social situations. By learning to self-regulate, children can improve their focus, behavior, impulse control, and social interactions which are all developed at Sense Team Sports.
