1. Parental as anything – Maggie Dent
This is an amazing podcast by Australian author, educator and parenting and resilience specialist, Maggie Dent. Maggie has three boys of her own and so can offer a refreshing perspective on parenting advice! She often has other experts on the podcast to help give up to date evidence-based practices on how to manage tricky parenting moments!

2. Happy Families Podcast – Dr Justin Coulson
The Happy Families Podcast is hosted by Dr Justin Coulson, one of Australia’s leading parenting experts. His short episodes are perfect for ‘time-poor parents’ to get a quick burst of valuable information on parenting. The podcast has over 250 episodes covering topics from screen time to anxiety and each containing important information on how to support your children and your family unit.

3. All Things Sensory – Harkla
This podcast is presented by two Occupational Therapy Assistants in the US who specialise in sensory integration. They do a great job of explaining sensory challenges in our kids and providing some quick and simple activities that you can implement at home to support your child’s regulation.

4. Sue Larkey Podcast – Sue Larkey
Sue Larkey is a Teacher and Lecturer who specialises in Special Education. Her podcast gives valuable insight into how to support a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other learning difficulties in the classroom and at home. She often interviews experts in areas such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Motor disorders to give current best-practice strategies and perspectives to increase the participation and engagement of our children with additional needs.

5. The Parenting Spectrum
This Podcast is hosted by parents Fiona and Travis who has a son Patch who has Autism. They provide valuable insight into what an autism diagnosis means for a family. They cover topics from safety, schools, lack of sleep and getting ready for the teenage years and adulthood! This podcast is perfect for the parents of children with Autism and helping them to navigate some of the tricky parts of their day-to-day life.
