“I am passionate about helping children achieve their developmental goals, as well as building their self confidence and resilience.”
Tania is a mature age Occupational Therapist who decided to study OT as a second career, having first completed a degree in Exercise & Health Science at the Australian Catholic University. It was while doing some support work for a child with autism, that Tania learnt about Occupational Therapy and that gave her the drive and passion to complete her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of Canberra.
Since graduation, Tania has worked predominantly in private practice with children with autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, learning difficulties and handwriting challenges.
As an Occupational Therapist, Tania thrives on seeing the excitement on children’s faces when they have completed a once challenging task for them. Building rapport with families and children to me is incredibly important, as having a healthy relationship creates comfort and trust in one another.
With a degree in sports science behind her, Tania is passionate about the role sport plays in physical fitness as well as mentally keeping us balanced and on track.
Tania’s passions in life include food, travel and sport. She plays premier league soccer for Brookvale, competes in competitive sprinting at Narrabeen and enjoys participating in boxing, futsal and swimming. Tania enjoys being social and checking out the latest food events, markets, going on mini getaways to the South Coast, seeing friends and spending time with family.
Tania’s family is from Croatia from a small island called Korcula, which has the most beautiful coastline and people.
