Morgan is a bright and passionate Occupational Therapist who grew up in Brisbane, Queensland. Morgan completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland . Morgan’s love for paediatrics stemmed from volunteering at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, providing gross motor rehabilitation to children with cerebral palsy.
Morgan has worked as a paediatric therapy assistant providing regular home therapy to help children achieve their functional goals at home. This gave Morgan the opportunity to work with children from various backgrounds including autism, ADHD, handwriting difficulties and developmental delays. Morgan also completed an 8 week program in providing telehealth services to children. She is equipped with the skills to provide effective paediatric telehealth services and is excited to use her creativity to make therapy fun and interactive.
Morgan values collaboration with families, parents, carers and teaching staff who she believes are an integral part to a child’s journey. Morgan is particularly interested in trauma informed care, emotional regulation, school readiness and sensory processing in child development. She is also involved in running our Sense Rugby Program on Wednesday afternoons at Bantry Bay Oval, Seaforth.
Morgan has a passion for surfing and dance and when she is not catching waves, she likes to spend her time visiting her family and friends in Queensland. From a young age, Morgan always had a dream to move to the Northern Beaches. Growing up holidaying in Manly, she quickly developed a love for the beaches lifestyle and decided to make the move after graduating.
