“I love seeing kids reach their developmental milestones”
Jamie has completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University and is an OT who is passionate about children’s health, movement and nutrition. To further extend her knowledge, Jamie has completed workshops in DIR Floortime, Zones of Regulation & Social Thinking: Keeping Our Kids Organised.
Specialising in kids’ OT came naturally to Jamie, thanks to growing up in a big extended family. This gave her the opportunity to see and help lots of her younger cousins achieve their developmental goals as infants.
As an OT, Jamie is particularly interested in executive functioning, emotional regulation, social thinking, handwriting and helping children develop their fine and gross motor skills. She values collaboration with families, parents, carers and teaching staff throughout the therapy process to achieve the most effective and sustainable outcomes for the child.
Jamie works with children at both our Balgowlah and Pymble clinics as well as in-school on the Northern Beaches. She is also involved in running our holiday groups and our Sense Rugby Program on Friday afternoons at Wahroonga Rugby Club, Cliff Oval. You can often find Jamie on weekends supporting her local soccer club, at the beach and hiking through National Parks.
