“I love being an OT because it creates a space for me to support children to achieve their best, and to live their life with more joy”
Andrea is an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist. She has a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Social Justice & Sociology from the University of Notre Dame. She has over 8 years of experience working with children of all abilities. Andrea prides herself in providing strengths based, holistic and client centred OT practice. Prior to becoming an OT, Andrea was a Case Manager and Extended Family Support worker with Uniting Disability. Andrea worked closely with OT’s and other Allied Health professionals to facilitate a holistic therapy plan for her clients. Andrea has NDIS experience and is eager to ensure her clients achieve the best they can within this new system.
Andrea’s OT journey has taken her over to Broome, Western Australia, where she worked with primary aged children with trauma backgrounds, autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, and learning and coordination difficulties. The treatment areas in which Andrea excels in are handwriting, fine motor development, social skills and emotional regulation.
