Best Buddies is a small-group social program designed to help children build meaningful, positive connections with their peers in a supportive and structured environment.
The program offers two age-based groups (Kindergarten–Year 2 and Years 2–4) to ensure sessions are developmentally appropriate and engaging.
Each weekly session uses practical, play-based activities to support children in navigating social interactions, understanding group dynamics, and developing confidence in connecting with others. With guided support from therapists, children will work on key skills such as flexible thinking, problem-solving, emotional awareness, and communication, while learning how to cooperate, negotiate, and engage in shared play.
Best Buddies focuses not just on participation, but on helping children feel understood, included, and capable within a group setting—empowering them to build lasting friendships and social confidence that extends beyond the session.
