Fostering engagement and connection between parents and children
This is an Occupational Therapist facilitated, parent led playgroup for children aged 2-5 years (preschool,) aiming to develop social engagement, emotional regulation and play skills.
Using a Developmental, Individual-Based, Relationship Model (DIR Floortime), this group will empower parents to connect with their children and support their social and emotional development. This will be an open play group in which children are able to attend as they wish, however we would strongly recommend it is attended at a minimum on a fortnightly basis.
