“I love seeing kids reach their developmental milestones”
Jamie is an OT who is passionate about children’s health, movement and nutrition.
Jamie has gained experience in children’s occupational therapy at Royal Far West, Qualia Occupational Therapy for Children and Kids OT, in addition to completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University.
Specialising in kids’ OT came naturally to Jamie, thanks to growing up in a big extended family. This gave her the opportunity to see and help lots of her younger cousins achieve their developmental goals as infants.
As an OT, Jamie is particularly interested in sensory integration, handwriting and helping children with larger physical movements and their gross motor skills.
With her love of sports and health, Jamie’s also undertaking a Masters of Human Nutrition to add greater depth to her practice as an OT. She hopes her nutrition skills will further assist her young clients’ development and growth.
On the weekend, you can often find Jamie supporting her local soccer team or balancing her love of healthy living with baking cupcakes!
